Now, we invite you to mark your calendars for the 48th edition of the European Lipoprotein Club scientific meeting, taking place from September 8–11, 2025.
If you have an interest in lipids, lipoproteins, and lipid-related diseases, this year’s meeting will be a fantastic opportunity to discuss your research and network with both emerging talents and experts in the field.

General information & contact

The 48th meeting will be held at the Evangelische Akademie in Tutzing, Germany, September 8-11, 2025.
The concept of the meeting is a good mix of presentations by research investigators, postdocs and graduate students. Scientists and students residing in Europe or neighbouring countries, who are engaged in activities in line with the objectives of ELC, may apply to attend the scientific meeting to present their work. In order to participate in the meeting, your abstract needs to be accepted for presentation either orally or as poster. The abstracts are all selected according to their scientific merit, and it has become one of the traditions of the ELC meeting that many graduate students give presentations.

Invited speakers’ programme – world leading experts

The scientific programme of the 48th meeting will include 5-10 topics, selected by the Organising Committee based on submitted abstracts. These topics will be discussed at the meeting over four days. In addition we have invited internationally recognised scientists in the field.
The programme starts already on Monday afternoon with two sessions prior to the Keynote Lecture in the evening, September 8, 2025.

Deadline to submit an abstract is April 24, 2025.
Notifications on acceptance/rejection will be sent out by the end of May/beginning of June 2025.

Accommodation is provided at the meeting venue and is included in the registration fee.
€ 300 for participants ≤35 years of age
€ 600 for participants >35 years of age
By registering you will become a member of the European Lipoprotein Club. All ELC members are required to adhere to the ELC statutes and Code of Conduct.
