EAS Elections 2012 - Presentation of Participating Candidates

We are grateful to all EAS members who sent in nominations for this year's elections. We are pleased to present those nominees selected by the Society's Election Committee to stand as candidates, term commencing January 2013.


Voting is now open (Link to EAS Website: http://www.eas-society.org/)

- EAS members can vote for their preferred candidates until October 1, 2012.
- Voting is electronic, via the Society's website, and the results will be independently verified by a member of the Society.
- Each EAS member may vote once only.

Information about our candidates

- Executive Committee Member candidates: there are six candidates for the three vacant positions on the EAS Executive Committee (EC).
- Vice President candidate: we received one nomination for this position; Professor Wiklund is put forward by the Election Committee as the sole candidate for this position.

The EAS aims for a balance of gender, expertise and geographical areas throughout Europe when considering candidates for Officers and Executive Committee members.
