EAS Congress 2013 - Abstract deadline

 

 

Abstract Submission Deadline: Monday, December 3, 2012

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 81st Congress of the European Atherosclerosis Society in Lyon, France, June 2-5, 2013. The Congress is hosted by the New French Society for Atherosclerosis. The local Organizing Committee and the EAS Scientific Program Committee, have worked together to prepare a programme that will include the very latest developments in the field of atherosclerosis, combined with timely reviews presented by outstanding plenary speakers.

 

The EAS congress remains a unique opportunity to bring together the various actors in the field of atherosclerosis. For EAS 2013 the programme will be of interest both to junior and established basic scientists and to clinical researchers and practitioners. The Congress is structured to promote interactions between these different groups, and will provide cutting-edge basic research translatable into disease prevention and treatment. More than 800 posters are expected and will be organized for interesting and interactive poster sessions. - Submit your abstract

 

 

Rules for submission


The presenting author is expected to attend the congress and present the poster or oral presentation.

The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.

All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. If you need help, please arrange for the review of your abstract by a colleague who is a native English speaker, by a university scientific publications office (or other similar facility) or by a copy editor, prior to submission.

 


Guidelines for submission


Abstracts will be reviewed and assigned to appropriate sessions.

Abstracts will be selected for Poster Presentation, Moderated Poster Discussion, and a limited number of abstracts will be scheduled for oral presentation. Authors will be notified of acceptance and the format of presentation.

The abstract should be as informative as possible:
Aim: state background and specific objective of study
Methods: shortly describe methods used
Results: summarize results obtained
Conclusions: state conclusions reached

Standard abbreviations may be used.
Inclusion in the Scientific Program and Congress publications is dependent upon payment of registration fees.
Abstracts should be submitted in good English, as to facilitate fair scientific evaluation.
Abstract length should not exceed 300 words.
