The 7th edition of the International Atherosclerosis Research School (iARS) - as in past years - will offer to a group of about twenty MD and PhD students and Post Docs the chance to participate in an intensive, one-week course about both clinical and basic research aspects of atherosclerosis.

The iARS will be held in Hamburg, Germany, from August 21st to 27th, 2016 and is again organized by Alexander Laatsch and Michal Vrablík.

Among the topics will be: CVD and Atherosclerosis, Risk Factors and Assessment, Inflammation, HDL, Brown Adipose Tissue, Genetics, Lipid Metabolism, T2D and Metabolic Syndrome, Good Scientific Practice, and Presentation Skills. The participation fee is 150 Euros only, including accommodation and food. Participants are expected to cover their own travel costs and to attend the school for the whole time.
