EAS 2017, 85th European Atherosclerosis Society Congress

 

Dear Friends & Colleagues,
We are delighted to invite you to the 85th EAS Congress which will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, from 23-26 April, 2017, hosted by the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) and the Czech Society for Atherosclerosis (CSAT).
The meeting will build bridges between today’s research and tomorrow’s therapies in the diagnosis and treatment of atherosclerosis and related vascular disease. The historical city of Prague is a picturesque setting for the meeting; its charming bridges symbolising the progress in the field as world-leading experts come together to inform and inspire.
The comfortable atmosphere of the congress venue and its impressive setting will provide a unique meeting place for high-level interdisciplinary exchange. The planned state-of-the-art plenary sessions and workshops will focus on timely and emerging hot topics and we would like to cordially invite you to submit abstracts of your latest work to be presented orally or as posters. Remember to register promptly to take advantage of early registration offers.

The EAS 2017 Scientific Committee has created an innovative programme featuring influential speakers in their respective fields. EAS 2017 Prague welcomes a distinguished international faculty to share their pioneering perspectives on the latest developments in basic research and clinical practice in atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease.

 

 

CME-CPD Accreditation
European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (UEMS/EACCME)
An application will be made to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) for CME accreditation of this event. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS): www.uems.net
American Medical Association (AMA)
Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME for ECMEC credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
